Hello U.

                                                                                                          U.Bakery began as an experiment in our home kitchen, It grew into a garage micro bakery and,  a few years ago into our very own Cafe and bakery. We're so happy to have this space and the community we've built around it. Our ever-changing menu reflects our story, the food we grew up eating and the flavours we've come to love.

Each product we bake is part of who we are. Inspired by home, travels, memories & experiences from around the world.

Waking up one day during lockdown with a new dream and a desire to bake, changed everything. Leaving my day job and throwing myself into an exciting new chapter was difficult, challenging but so fulfilling & exciting. Day and night I was learning, experimenting, testing new & old recipes and creating a host of delicious artisan breads for us all to enjoy.

We pride ourselves on making our products by hand, specialising in sourdoughs which are all fermented and crafted, beginning with flour and water and culminating in a slice of warm bread, over a three-day process. We pride ourselves on using the highest quality ingredients, free of additives, preservatives or improvers, sourced from local independent suppliers wherever possible.

Our bakers & front of house are a wonderful group of people.

Together, we've created a joyful place with a strong community of people who care about what we do and enjoy the fruits of our labour. We are so thankful for that.
